The French Embassy in Ghana, represented by Ambassador-designate H.E. Diarra Dimé-Labille, officially launched the second edition of Création Africa Ghana (CAG), including its flagship Incubation Program implemented in partnership with Impact Hub Accra (IHA). This relaunch reaffirms France’s commitment to supporting innovation, entrepreneurship and growth within Ghana’s cultural and creative industries.
Last Year’s Edition: Empowering Creative Talent
The first edition of CAG was a major success. At the conclusion of the 2024 Incubation Program, 15 Ghanaian creative entrepreneurs and businesses were each awarded individual grants of up to €30,000.
Some of the winning projects included ventures such as Wonderspaced, SPiiKA, Art Novo, Fish & Plankton by Dela Avemega, Threaded Tribes, Moongirls Live, The Revival, as well as Jambo Spaces, Kayadua Studio, Bonobo Concepts, Ghana Food Movement, Ria Boss Open Mic, Akese Homeware, Grey Area Studios, and OBL Studios.
These grantees benefited from structured business training, expert mentorship and access to workspace and networks critical resources to help them turn creative ideas into sustainable ventures.
Call for New Applicants: 2026 Incubation Cohort
As the second edition gets underway, CAG is now accepting applications for its 2026 Incubation cohort. Creatives from across Ghana working in film, music, design, fashion, digital arts, publishing, and other cultural fields are encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will have access to:
- Business training and mentorship by industry experts,
- Dedicated collaborative workspace at Impact Hub Accra,
- Networking opportunities locally and internationally,
- Visibility and exposure through the programme’s network and platforms,
- Funding of up to €30,000 for the top projects. Création Africa Ghana+1
